These pages contain information about building a tinkerbell-type locomotive. Over the years several people have emailed me about my projects, for advice, inspiration, so I have decided to do a full blow-by-blow account of this one. It will include drawings of important parts, costs, sources etc. so that you (Yes, you) can build one of these magnificent engines. It's not difficult, the parts are big enough for anyone to make, and, by using modern technology as far as possible to update the original design, the engine will be simpler to build and more reliable than the original.
